This page contains Frequently Asked Questions for those who are interested in Boarding & Day Care. Please read it in its entirety and if you have any further questions or to set up a reservation for your pet, email us at bellerosekennels@gmail.com!

Q ~ What are the fees for Boarding & Day Care?

A ~ Boarding – $40 for a 24 hr period, per dog

Day Care – $30 per dog

Q ~ What is included for each?

A ~ Our kennel is equipped with 4 indoor/outdoor runs, 4 outdoor runs (weather permitting) and 10 crates. Depending on our availability, the size of your dog, and their temperament, they will be assigned to one of these runs or crates. Within each run there is a raised dog bed, a blanket/towel, a stainless steel water bucket, and a stainless steal food bowl. All dogs get to go out in play appropriate groups at least 3 times a day (day care) and 4 times a day (boarding). Any medications will be given for no extra cost and all dogs are fed 2x a day (if you have a puppy, 3x a day is possible).

Q ~ What should I bring?

A ~ 1. Paperwork: Online Registration, Liability Release, and Medical Records HERE

2. Dog Food: INDIVIDUALLY bagged per feeding. We do have food available but there is a $2 per day fee.

3. Any medications with detailed instructions on their dosage

Optional: treats, a blanket/towel, and a leash. We have plenty of leashes here and also supply each dog with a towel or blanket but if you feel the need to bring their own you are welcome to*. Please DO NOT bring dog beds or anything that you are worried about getting damaged.

*We are not responsible for any damage to any property you leave here with your dog.

Q ~ Can I just give you a bag of food for my dog?

A ~ NO, we do not have the space to have every visiting dog have their own bag of food here. Please individually bag the food per feeding.

Q ~ Is the kennel Air Conditioned? Heated?

A ~ Our kennel is equipped with a temperature controlled fan so that if it is over 75* the exhaust fan will come on automatically. We also have a ceiling fan to help with circulation, open windows and aisle way doors, and have individual fans w/cooling packs for especially hot days. Our location is also helpful because there is always a breeze. This keeps the kennel at a very comfortable temperature even on the hottest of days. Dogs have constant access to water and can even have a mini pool put in their kennel if they are water hounds. For the cooler months, yes, the kennel is heated at all times and is very comfortable.

Q ~ Approximately how many times will my dog be able to get out to play?

A ~ All dogs get to go outside as often as possible. This often depends on the weather and the temperature. All dogs are out at least 3 times a day for approximately 1 hr each time. These are supervised play sessions in our fully fenced play fields with play appropriate dogs.

Q ~ What are your drop off/pick up times?

A ~ Since we are a private facility, these times vary every week. Our usual times are below, but are subject to change:

M-F: 7 am-9am      3:30pm-6pm

S-Su: 7am-9am     4pm-6pm

Please email us to set up an appointment for drop off/pick up. ALL DROP OFF/PICK UP’s ARE BY APPOINTMENT ONLY.

Q ~ If my dog gets dirty, will you give it a bath?

A ~ Yes, we are able to give bathes before you pick up your dog. You simply need to let us know you are interested in this service. It is $40 for a bath, blow out, and nail trim. We have our own grooming bay and many shampoos so we can customize for your dogs needs or feel free to provide your own shampoo/conditioner if your dog has specific needs.

Q ~ How many dogs do you let out at one time?

A ~ That depends entirely on the dogs we have here at that time. If all of the dogs get along they may all (between 10-15) be out together. If there is a reason we must split into smaller groups then it will usually be groups of about 6 dogs at a time.

Q ~ Do you offer tours of your facility and do I need to have an appointment?

A ~ We do invite prospective clients to the property to meet our manager and to see the play yard and get a feel for the kennel. However, due to the unnecessary stress it creates for our current residents only staff members go inside the kennel. We strive to create a home-away-from-home for all our doggie guests so we try to keep the stress as minimal as possible. From the front gate you are able to see the play yard, the kennel runs, and the 5-acre fenced play field. These meetings do have to have an appointment since we are a private facility. To make an appointment simply email us today, bellerosekennels@gmail.com

Q ~ Is there a cancellation policy?

A ~ Yes. Reservations cancelled without a 48 hr warning are subject to payment of 50% of the invoice for the total stay owed. If no communication of a cancellation is attempted before the scheduled drop off time 100% of the invoice for the total stay is owed.

Q~ Do I have to pay a deposit?

A~ Generally no. However, board and trains require a 50% deposit to hold the reservation. All holiday bookings (New Years, Easter, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, etc.) require a 50% nonrefundable deposit at the time of booking. Extended stays or repetitive cancellations are also subject to a deposit fee.
